Ive found this app easy to use and exceptionally accurate. It has really helped me in my photography when Im trying to figure out the best time to revisit a location for better lighting.

I like that this app includes both sun and moon.

I love this tool and rely upon it almost daily to track the sun and moon. Its ease of use and excellent screen graphics provide valuable insights and help me plan my photo shoots around those key times of day when the light is at its best. Enter any date and location and you can see the direction, angle and elevation of the light. Very valuable information to have prior to arriving at your chosen location. I give this five stars, it has earned it!

Love this app. Really well done. Very useful.

This is a great app for photography, but also for identifying where and when the sun and the moon will be rising, in general. Just tonight I looked up the moonrise to see where it would be, since it was the largest full moon last night. I regularly refer to this app for general location and direction (north, south, etc.) information, too. I highly recommend this app!

Nice App. I am a hobbyist photographer and have used this app in numerous locations with great reliability and success.

This is the second update and i just cant Open this, it shows the lightrac logo and boom, back to the springboard.

UPDATE 10/10/2014: Bug in the previous version were fixed so fast, I am amazed. Its one of the greatest app again. Thank you! *************** The latest version is broken on iPhone 5 running iOS 7. The map does not load. Please fix!

This app makes quick work and removes the guess work for my photography. Beach style maternity and wedding shoots need the great light and this app lets me help couples determine the best time to arrive to maximize that light!

I just love this app .. can scroll through the day, month, or year and see clearly the amount of daylight and night for any time ... I check it out before I go out in the field for the length of daylight and the direction of the sun ... I need bright light for soil identification and wetland delineation ..I can easily know how much light I have left for those jobs around the house .. I like looking for the date the days will start to be getting longer .. the longest day of the year and shortest one .. great for anyone where to plant the garden .. put the solar collectors .. place the windows for the early east morning light and the wonderful west sunset .. just plain fun!
