Absolutely No Instructions

I really want to love this app., but instead I find it frustrating to use. There are no instructions telling me what Im looking at, or how to interpret what Im seeing. Is the blue line the moon and yellow the sun, then whats the red? Someone told me to use it facing north? Again no instructions in the app. When I move, so do the lines.
The current location never moved from a previous spot, so I deleted, and reloaded. It does seem to be better now.
I have even tried to find instructions online to no avail. Personally, I wish I hadnt waisted my money.
